Shogun’s garden / Tokugawaen

It is one of the cultural heritage that is transmitted to the Owari Tokugawa family, originally the Osone sanctuary trace that was built in Genroku 8th year (1695) as the retreat of the Tokugawa Gogo family, Owari clan’s second generation lord Kwang Tomo.
It is solemnly settled in the Kiso Mountain Range, Kiso Mikawa, Ise Bay, Nobi Plain with large rock formations approaching three-dimensionally, Mountains placed, Ozone’s Taki, Streams, Ryusenko, Mudan Garden, Landscape, Landscape garden with landscape condensed.
You can enjoy the beautiful garden every season throughout the year.
